About the Role

Dreamscape is seeking an experienced 3D Animator to join the animation team as a freelancer. This position is temporary and can be remote.

The candidate has experience in a wide range of animation productions such as game, animation, film, and TV. Our ideal candidate is creative, self-motivated, and collaborative. The Freelance 3D Animator will report to the Animation Lead and work closely with other animators.

Responsibilities:

• Create high quality key-frame animations using Maya
• Work closely with Animation Lead and the animation team to support animation needs
  
• Discuss and address notes given by Director and Animation Lead
• Collaborate with other animators

Qualifications:

• Professional 3D Animation experience in Film, Feature or series animation production
• Must include an animation demo reel web link
• Proficiency in Maya and/or Unity
• Ability to work independently, and in a team environment

Nice to Have:

• Professional VR development experience
• Be able to work in PST time zone
• Strong acting skill
• Experience with Timeline animation in Unity
• Experience in Previs, Layout, Camera, and Cinematography
• Working knowledge in Python, MEL, and animation pipeline
• Experience with Shotgrid, JIRA, Confluence
• Experience with Motion Graphic and/or FX animation
