The Wax Production Associate for Leica Biosystems is responsible for completing on time production orders and adhering to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), and the Quality Policy.
This position is part of the Production Operations located in Richmond, IL and will be on-site. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Set up and operate wax line: weigh wax, make wax blends, Package in appropriate packaging, use machinery and equipment efficiently with a minimum of wasted time or materials and trouble shoot and adjust equipment as required.
Hand load appropriate raw material for the next wax load according to the schedule.
Complete assignments in compliance with predetermined quality standards typical for the machinery or equipment used.
The essential requirements of the job include:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Able to lift and/or move up to 45 pounds
It would be a plus if you also possess experience in:
Mechanical aptitude
