Job description
We invite you to join our team!
At Americor, our mission is to provide families with the path to pursue their financial dreams. Whether we're helping Americans get out of debt or the local community through volunteer work, our employees care about others. This dedication to others sets Americor apart – not only as a company but as a family of employees to help each other grow personally and professionally. Recognized as a 'Top Place to Work' and 'Best Company' in customer service, quality, and value, we invite you to join the Americor community of talented sales professionals.
Our sales team is at the center of our success. They are the first people customers speak with when they are ready to change their financial situation. Also known as Debt Consultants, they will be responsible for contacting potential clients, quickly developing relationships, and guiding them through the initial stage of the debt consolidation and debt relief process. They don't cold-call because we supply them with customer leads to convert them into an Americor client. Our sales reps make a lot of calls and hear a lot of 'Nos,' but the reward they reap in customer satisfaction and compensation is worth the hard work.
Things you should know:
You don't need sales experience, but you do have to want to be in a customer-centric sales role.
This role is designated in-office at our Meridian, ID office. If you are interested, make sure you are willing to make the drive.
This role is hourly + commission. The hourly rate is $15.50 + Commission. On average, a first-year sales representative with little or no sales experience could earn around $70,000 or more. Experienced sales reps can make 200K +.
This is a phone sales job. We offer training to ramp your success, but you must enjoy smiling and dialing. You are always on the phone and in the office quite a bit, including some weekends.
We will train you. We offer a 30-day training program to show you the ropes. Your managers are invested in your success, and we do our best to pair you with a leader who will bring out the best in you.
You ARE helping people. You have the opportunity to change someone's life by connecting them to the debt program that is best suited to their situation.
We think you'll be successful if you:
- Have a strong work ethic and determination - You don't quit; you keep trying - even when things get tough.
- You tend to stay focused on the task at hand. You don't get too worked up or know how to shake it off and get back to business.
- Are open and receptive to feedback, and apply it quickly to speed up your success. You thrive in an active coaching environment because you want to continuously improve and develop.
- Enjoy connecting with people. You may be a 'people-person,' or you enjoy helping others.
- Listen carefully. You stay engaged in a conversation because it helps you understand the person on the other end.
- Have confidence in your abilities. You know what you are capable of, and you believe in yourself.
- Are motivated by opportunities where your success is directly reflected in your paycheck
- You are bi-lingual (Spanish is preferred)
- You live in the United States and do not require visa sponsorship.
