Medical City Arlingtonis a 432-bed full-service hospital located in the heart of the growing South Arlington area. Our team consists of well over 1,000 full-time and part-time nurses, therapists, technicians and other healthcare personnel. Medical City Arlington is proud to be a leader in Dallas/Fort worth healthcare with nearly 700 highly skilled physicians who represent a wide variety of medical specialties. Together we form a team that focused on high-quality care delivered safely in an environment filled with compassion and service.

TheAccountantis responsible for the reconciliation and resolution of various reports and the General Ledger Balance Sheet Accounts for all facilities. In addition, he/she will participate in the monthly closing of the General Ledger. The position is primarily responsible for the daily Lawson Accounts Payable workflow and will perform research on vendor invoices and send vendor invoices to departments for approval. Works closely with the Assistant Controller on projects dictated by the Department, Administration and the Corporate office. No direct patient care given by this position.


Education:

College degree preferred in Accounting or Finance

Minimum Experience:

No experience required if employee has a college degree in Accounting

Six years experience working in an Accounting related field which involved working with the General Ledger and Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations required if employee has no college degree.

Special Demands:

Must be able to work additional hours and weekends when necessary. Must be extremely organized and able to meet specific deadlines.
