Job Overview:

The Accounting Administrative Assistant will support the Vice President of Finance and Accounting Management Team with a variety of routine and semi-routine accounting projects in accordance with standard procedures including, but not limited to accounting, contracting, and general administrative support.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, report and file department records, including team’s schedule, attendance, and vacation calendar, amid all other necessary documentation that supports the accounting department.
  • Function in department operating systems ensuring timely responses to incoming calls, mail and emails, including drafting written responses to all levels of management.
  • Coordinate, schedule and facilitate meetings and presentations, including dates, agendas, meeting rooms and invites.
  • Develop and organize financial statements reporting packages.
  • Create and maintain client accounting contact list.
  • Order supplies and equipment necessary for Accounting department productivity.
  • Provide other administrative support as needed.

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • High School degree minimum. College degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years related experience in Accounting and Finance support is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite systems, high comfort level leveraging reporting tools daily.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise positively with all levels of management.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Professionalism and discretion along with excellent prioritization skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
