Job Summary:

The Accounting Associate will work directly with the Comptroller assisting in the accounting process.

Supervisory Responsibilities:Duties/Responsibilities:

· Foster and support the company culture

· Maintain the system of internal accounting controls and financial reporting

· Budgeting

· Work-In-Progress reporting and General Ledger

· Prepare and record all necessary month end adjustments

· Pay all state sales tax and WH taxes on a monthly basis

· Maintain state registrations, business and tax licenses

· Work with Audit team when necessary for GL Reconciliations

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Excellent organizational and time management skills.

· Proficient in accounting and tax preparation software.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Education and Experience:

· Bachelors degree in Accounting or Business Administration required or comparable work experience.

· 2 or more years of experience in an Accounting role

· Construction Accounting preferred but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
