JOB STATUS: Full/Part Time: Full Overtime: Non-Exempt Union: Non-union

HOURS: Day(s): Monday — Friday Time: 8:00 am. — 5:00 p.m.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Accounting Clerk (Accounts Receivable) is responsible for the processing and balancing of transactions from the organizations’ bank accounts, the customer service window, and preparing physical deposits for the cash delivery service provider.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Prepares daily cash flow sheets and email them to fiscal supervisors

Prepares and process daily bank deposits pick-up

Post all ACH and customer deposits bank transactions in accounting system

Reconciliations daily bank balances and accounting cash balances

Monitors and tracks capital assets and consumable inventory for all departments

Assist with month, and year-end closing procedures

Assist with the internal departmental and City’s audit

Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have obtained a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent

Must have good math skills and be competent using MS Excel

Must have the ability to maintain effective relationships with customers and other employees

Cash handling experience required

Must be able to be bonded

SALARY RANGE: $15-19 per hour

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
