Kahana Feld is seeking a full time Accounts Payable/Billing/Accounts Receivable Clerk who is organized, detail oriented, and dependable. Candidate must possess excellent organizational skills and have comprehensive experience preferably within the legal industry. This position requires a highly motivated, organized professional capable of functioning in a fast-paced, challenging legal environment.
Job Description
- Create and send invoices
- Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
- Verify expense reports and post billable entries
- Pay vendors and respond to all vendor inquiries
- Prepare analysis of client accounts and produce monthly reports
- Review invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment
- Perform invoice and general-ledger data entry
- Execute credit card and bank account reconciliation
- Obtain and print signatures on all checks
- Review all invoices for appropriate documentation
- Reconciliation of the accounts payables monthly
- Prepare the daily cash summary report
- Keep track of all payments and expenditures, invoices, statements, etc.
- Process monthly billing
- Monitor Accounts Receivable
- Follow-up with clients regarding past-due invoices
- Input credits, debits, and payments
- Write checks via QuickBooks Online
- Post deposits to billing system and make bank deposits
- Assist and coordinate with Controller as needed
Job Skills Required
- Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping Ability to analyze and reconcile financial data
- Detail oriented with the ability to investigate and solve problems
- Effectively communicate verbally and through written correspondence
- Capable to work in collaborative, open environment
- Demonstrate ability to work creatively, prioritize and manage goals
- Critical thinker with strong attention to detail, and ability to problem-solve and establish solutions in a fast-paced environment
- QuickBooks Online experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, OneNote)
- Experience with Attorney-Client Trust Accounts
- Experience with TimeSolv billing software preferable
- Superb time management skills and detail orientation
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of company and partner information
- High school diploma or equivalent

Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
