The Job You Will Preform:
The Accounting Specialist role at International Paper’s Riegelwood Mill is an entry-level accounting support staff position, in which the individual will be responsible for Accounts Payable functions, Payroll Transaction Processing, Backup for Raw materials administrator and general administrative accounting functions as needed. PL will vary depending upon experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll transactions for the mill, including any required reporting as needed
- Act as the backup for Payroll when the “Lead” Payroll Administrator is out
- Coordinate with mill areas or area analysts to insure any Payroll related questions or issues are addressed in a timely and accurately manner
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of daily, weekly, and monthly responsibilities and reports
- Back up for Raw Materials Administrator
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline, accounting, finance, is preferred
- Able to demonstrate knowledge of financial accounting and internal controls
- Comfortability with Microsoft office
- Work Brain and SAP skills are preferred
