What You Will Do:

• Review and process invoices, reflecting all costs accurately in the inventory system and general ledger
• Maintain strong communication with A/P manager, other department managers and suppliers
• Maintain accurate records of unpaid and paid invoices
• Continually review processes with an eye for improvement, efficiency, and cost savings
• Set up new suppliers and make supplier changes within the organization.
• Perform GL account reconciliation and analysis
• Collaborate with purchasing managers and purchasing clerks to solve inventory, receipt, and purchase questions
• Perform any closely related duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring:

• Associate degree in accounting/business administration or related degree, or at least five years accounting/accounts payable experience
• ERP and Plex experience preferred
• Previous experience handling customer accounts preferred
• Knowledge of 3-way match process required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Capable of organizing information and self-monitoring of completion of responsibilities and duties.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong independent thinking and attention to detail
• Ability to adhere to assignment deadlines, including month end reporting deadlines
• Openness and desire to change processes and policies.
