Accounts Payable Clerk (Entry Level & Advanced)

We are looking for an individual who wants to grow in the AP career, willing to learn, have a "can do" attitude and willing to work with a team.
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze invoices of purchases and expenses.
- Apply payments and attach backup information for weekly payments to suppliers.
- Request and reconcile purchases to vendors.
- Enveloping and sending checks to suppliers.
- Respond to queries to managers and sellers and reconcile differences of adjustments between them.
- Receive and verify expenses are in compliance with company policies.
- Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
- Prepare selection payments and analyze priorities and urgencies.
- Attach supporting documentation for the revised selection of payments.
- Matches invoices to accounts and locations by analyzing invoice/expense reports.
- Perform other assigned tasks.
Qualifications and Skills
- Have the ability to analyze, verify data, excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate with all levels of employees and clients.
- Ability to multi-task, willingness to learn new skills and ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment.
- Must be detail oriented; have strong and accurate data entry skills and work well within a team environment.
- Ability to deal effectively with tight month end closing process.
- Must be dependable with the ability to follow instructions, respond to management direction and solicit feedback to improve performance.
- Ability to identify potential issues or errors and make decisions.
Minimum Requirements
- High School diploma.
- Minimum of 6 months of previous accounts payable experience.
- Minimum of 6 months of previous data entry experience required.
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
