Acoustical Ceiling Apprentice

Acousti is a full service specialties contractor, specializing in acoustical, metal and wood ceilings, all types of flooring, from carpet to ceramic and interior and exterior finish wall systems, drywall, plaster, and framing. We service the General Contractor community as a subcontractor in the commercial markets in our 20 locations located in Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Virginia, Texas, North Carolina and Tennessee.

Job Functions:

• Commercial acoustical ceiling installation experience including: knowledge of material, methods and tools involved in the installation of ceiling tile and grid.
• Professional demeanor while communicating with installers and GC superintendents
• Must be able to work individually and as a team player
• Maintain construction schedules including phasing
• Great and positive attitude
• Working knowledge of the construction industry is required including reading plans/layouts/prints
• Lay-Out (optional)
• Suspension system installation (grid)
• Ceiling tile Installation
• Ceiling wire installation
• Installer has to able to work on scaffold, aerial lifts, ladders, stilts.
• Installer will be require to use powder actuated tools and lasers.

Requirements:

• 1 to 2 years experience in relative trade
• Tools and transportation
• Must be able to handle physical workload
• Reliable vehicle a must
