The Activities Assistant assists the Director of Activities in planning, organizing, developing, and directing quality activities for patients, ensuring that the recreational, physical, intellectual, and social needs of each patient is met in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Activity Assistant:

  • Plan, schedule and implement a program of individual and group activities based on residents schedule.
  • Document resident's attendance to activity sessions as planned.
  • Implement room visits and in-room activities for residents as assigned.
  • Maintain an adequate supply of materials to implement activity programming.
