ACTIVITY ASSISTANT

• Assist in the planning and coordination of a balanced program of emotional, intellectual, vocational, social, physical and environmental activities with the intent of including all residents in some area of lifestyle activity.
• Promote a healthy community culture for all residents and employees. Ensure and exceed residents’ wellness needs relating to their mind, body and soul, which may also have a positive effect on the employees, as a result.
• Provide individual and group educational opportunities for residents and staff.
• Assist in tracking of activity participation for all Assisted Living, residents.
• Lead daily resident activities per our Community standards.
• Assist in gathering each resident’s interests through assessment for planning person-centered approach activities.
• Assist with preparing and distributing monthly calendars according to the Community standards.
• Assist with gathering information, articles, and photos for newsletter

Other duties as assigned.
