Ad Sales Analyst (Digital Advertising & Financials Focus)

About the role & team:

We are looking to hire a talented early career Ad Sales Analyst to support our Business Development (BD) team at TelevisaUnivision (TU). You will partner with the BD team to drive market outperformance and help grow low share business, as well as recommend the analytical tools and provide the data to help activate zero share clients. This is a great opportunity to work directly with our Ad Sales Leadership Team & Executives to help capture our fair share of ad dollars in the market.

This position is perfect if you are an entry level or early career candidate. You will report to the Senior Manager, Ad Sales Finance & Growth Initiatives, who is a great coach and mentor.

Your Day-Day:

• You will assist with the forecasting process and own portions of the financial forecast models, including P&L, cash flow, and supporting schedules/analyses. Ensure their quality, timeliness, and accuracy.
• You will develop and maintain key metric reporting and ad-hoc analyses which includes but not limited to daily sales, KPI dashboards and vendor analyses
• You will assist in month-end close process and analyze actual performance vs. plan, prior year, and current forecast
• You will analyze competitive media spend from syndicated data sources
• You will support Digital Advertising Sales leadership and provide recurring updates on financial performance
• You will collaborate with Digital Streaming, Linear and Social teams on cross-divisional projects related to billing and account management
• You will create impactful and visually compelling presentations
• You will develop expertise in Digital, Streaming and TV market growth, trends, and competition

You Have:

• A Bachelor’s Degree
• At least 1 year experience in advertising/media, analytics, finance or business strategy or relevant internships
• Experience manipulating data with Excel (formulas, pivot tables & vlookups)
• Experience creating slides and decks using PowerPoint
• Experience working with data visualization tools like Tableau or Lookr etc.
• Interest in the media industry, specifically streaming and social content
• Strong analytical skills

Additional Eligibility Requirements:

• Employment/education will be verified
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
• The role will be remote work model base in states where TelevisaUnivision has a local office, including (NY, Florida, Arizona, Texas, California, Colorado, Michigan, Massachusetts, Georgia, and other locations)
• Candidate must be willing to work from a TelevisaUnivision office on occasion. We are open to remote work based on location of candidate.

Salary: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
