Tesla is seeking a highly motivated individual, with up to 1 year of AM/3D Printing experience, interested in expanding the skill sets necessary to operate Additive Manufacturing/3D Printing equipment in our rapidly growing Additive Manufacturing department.
- Perform basic functions (independently), and advanced functions/techniques (with guidance) , required to set up builds on various systems
- Perform all functions related to machine turnaround and preparation for SLS, SLA, and FDM builds
- Daily and weekly facility clean-up
- Part Break-Out and clean-up
- Part delivery
Up to 1 year operating and working in an Additive Manufacturing/Rapid Prototyping or Machining R&D environment- Ability, with limited guidance, to repeatedly produce complex and tight tolerance components
- Willingness to learn GD&T
- Familiarity with at least one of the following: Build Set Up, 3D Manage, Magics, CATIA, SolidWorks, NetFab, Rhino, Pro-E
- 2 year degree or Tech. School certification highly desired
- Willingness to work overtime and/or weekends as required, with little to no advance notice, and sometimes for extended periods
