Admin/Eligibility Coordinator
Job description
A.W. Rehn & Associates is seeking a self-driven, highly organized COBRA Administrative Assistant to join our team.
The purpose of this role is to process contributions and update eligibility for Taft Hartley plan participants. By completing the following tasks well, this person will ensure client and participant satisfaction, corroborate that members can utilize their entitled benefits, and facilitate smooth transitions between internal processes. The successful candidate must be outstanding with customer service and be able to thrive in a high stress - deadline oriented environment. In summary, the role as a Trust admin/eligibility coordinator is critical to ensure that participants are enrolled according to established eligibility criteria and regulations, and that all records are maintained in a timely and accurate manner.
Specific Duties Include:
Process Incoming Contributions (Employer and Employee)
Understanding Eligibility criteria: You will review information to determine if applicants meet the eligibility requirements for the trust or program.
Managing Enrollment: You will also be responsible for managing the enrollment process, which may include reviewing applications, coordinating with participants, and keeping accurate records.
Maintaining Records: Keeping accurate records of all eligibility determinations and enrollment is important to ensure compliance with regulations.
Communication: Communicate with participants or their representatives to explain eligibility criteria, enrollment procedures, and answer any questions regarding the Trust requirements.
Collaborate with IT Programmers for Ongoing System Development
Qualifications include:
- Demonstrate attention to detail, self-motivation, professionalism, and strong organizational skills
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
- Computer literate; abilities in Microsoft Office Suite; able to learn new programs for processing
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrate ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Able to work in high stress environments and adhere to deadlines
- Minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience
