Job description
The
Administrative Assistant performs a variety of remote general administrative tasks.
Essential Functions:
- Provide general administrative and clerical support including but not limited to:
- Compose, type, and distribute professional correspondence, memoranda, and E-mails
- Manage project calendars and team calendars as requested
- Prepare work agreements and proposals
- Review and respond to daily internal and external mail
- Coordinate meetings including but not limited to:
- Prepare and distribute agendas and other meeting materials
- Schedule meetings via MS Teams and MS Outlook
- Meeting Notetaker: Record and transcribe meeting minutes
- Organize and maintain project database
- Provide support of all staff
- Conduct research, compile, and type statistical reports
- Attend virtual meetings as needed
- Assist with special projects as assigned
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook a must
- Ability to use SharePoint
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritize projects and strong problem-solving skills
- Good research skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to speak, read and write English
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma is required. Associate degree is desired.
- 2 years’ relevant experience is required
- A valid Class C driver's license is required
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS).
- Must pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check, a background check, and provide proof of being fully vaccinated for Covid-19 after accepting a conditional offer of employment.
