POSITION DESCRIPTION
Provide administrative support for senior leadership at Event Marketing Strategies, working directly with the Vice President, President/CEO, and Director, Operations.
- Own calendar scheduling and meeting coordination for Vice President, and assist with calendar scheduling and meeting planning for Director, Operations and President/CEO, as requested
- Provide human resource support including job postings and monitoring, interview scheduling, new hire onboarding preparation and paid time off tracking
- Monitor and respond to inbound emails and phone calls regarding new business, career opportunities and/or miscellaneous inquiries
- Coordinate travel for senior leadership team including airfare, hotels, car rental and restaurant reservations
- Assist with outbound and inbound shipping including courier, USPS, UPS and FedEx
- Manage database entry for senior leadership team including tracking Ambassador contracts, forms and contact information including document maintenance and updates
- Organize and plan for employee birthdays and celebrations in-office
- Provide administrative support on non-profit committees, boards and functions of the Vice President and EMS leadership team
- Provide miscellaneous errand support
- Actively participate in team meetings – including regular staff meetings, plus brainstorming, project development and review sessions
- Work to support other functions of the organization as requested
QUALIFICATIONS
- Three (3) years minimum proven experience in a similar role
- Advanced computer skills with intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Office, Google Drive and LinkedIn platforms
- A personable, positive, hard-working and outgoing personality
- Excellent verbal, presentation, written and email communication skills
- Collaborative and strong desire to work with others
- An ultimate multi-tasker with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Highly organized and detail focused with willingness to learn and adapt to change
Position has flexibility to be partially remote, however work in the office in Columbus could be up to five (5) days each week.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $36,000.00 - $38,000.00 per year
