TEXAS REFINERY CORP, a leader in the specialty lubricants industry for more than 100 years, is seeking a qualified individual to join our Credit Department as a Professional Administrative Assistant. This is an entry level position; you will be trained to be an Administrative Assistant. The position offers an outstanding opportunity for advancement within the company for the right individual.
TRC manufactures a line of superior lubricants and related products marketed to manufacturing, agriculture, construction, transportation, and many other industries. We seek a motivated, outgoing individual to join TRC for a career, not just a job.
Responsibilities:
- Entering TRC orders, employee purchases, and sample requests.
- Assisting Credit Managers, creating, and maintaining excel spreadsheets.
- Proofreading orders.
- Ensuring the timely completion of clerical duties such as filing, faxing, emailing. Including daily invoice sorting and distribution.
- Must have great phone etiquette, and customer service skills.
- Take the initiative and be willing to take on responsibility beyond the scope of the job description, as needed to ensure timely solutions to problems.
- Other duties as assigned.
The suitable candidate for this position should meet or exceed the following criteria:
- High School diploma or four (4) years administrative office experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, certification, and related experience. College education is a plus.
- Detail-oriented and strong work ethic.
- Professionalism, in both demeanor and appearance.
- Self-motivated and driven; willing to take initiative beyond expectations.
- Team-oriented; displaying a strong sense of pride in the success of the organization.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
