Supervisor: Hospital Director
ARISE is a 24-hour veterinary emergency and critical care (AVECCC) and specialty hospital in Queen Creek, AZ. We have the most skilled doctors in the state and provide significantly complex treatments in the western US. The teams in this department work closely with surgeons, oncologists, internists, radiologists, and a critical care team to provide the highest quality care to our patients. The hospital provides an opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technology including, but not limited to, CT, MRI, and ultrasound. JOB DUTIES
- Maintain Hospital Director’s calendar
- Schedule employee check-ins
- Ensure the Hospital Director has break times
- Coordinate Staff meetings
- Schedule interviews
- Prepare communications to include memos, emails, reports as requested
- Managing Hospital Director’s email
- Bring urgent emails to the Hospital Director’s attention
- Organize and archive emails as necessary
- Assist in the creation of reports
- Update and maintain office documents
- Act as the point of contact for the Hospital Director to external clients
- Meetings
- Create agendas
- Take meeting minutes
- Distribute agendas and completed minutes to attendees
- Additional tasks as requested by the Hospital Director, Medical Director or senior leadership
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous administrative assistant experience
- Proficient in Microsoft products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Flexible Schedule or “on call” availability
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Individuals should be professional and approachable, but also discreet, fair, tactful and firm.
- Strong detail orientation and time management skills.
- Self-directed with ability to effectively multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong problem solving and follow up skills.
- Strong organizational skills
