Job Title: Administrative - Content Operations Coordinator III
Location: San Diego, CA, Los Angeles, CA, Bay Area, CA
Duration: 7-month contract
We are seeking a Content Operations Coordinator to support the programming and operations of screen-based content for our AR/VR products. This position calls for an individual with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. It also requires technical expertise in following stringent processes and procedures, with a focus on maintaining clear and concise documentation.
Must-haves: experience w/VR(has put on a headset/used extensively (gaming/media events)), attentional to detail/workflows, working independently. Semi-regular working evenings and weekends.
Nice-to-haves: Photoshop, immersive media, data analysis experience
Successful background: Built something from scratch, growth or scaling.
Not looking for: Editors, social media promoters.
Responsibilities:
- Create and update process and procedural documentation to ensure consistency and accuracy of operational activities.
- Ingest and process media assets and prepare playlists for playback.
- Ensure content meets quality standards for distribution according to provided guidelines.
- Create and manage publishing schedules across distribution points.
- Support real-time programming changes to refresh content and ensure priority content discovery.
- Triage systems or communication issues that arise and problem solve with other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams including business development for content rights’ questions, marketing and communications for key calendar moments, and product teams to improve tools
- Support new live operation initiatives.
- Have the ability to work an extended schedule as events require evenings and weekend work.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years’ experience in content production, editorial, or operations - preferably with a focus on programming for new or emerging platforms
- Ability to work with content and video management systems while troubleshooting problems.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Self-motivated with persuasive, enthusiastic and customer service-oriented personality
- Capacity to drive processes independently and move projects to completion.
- High attention to detail with documenting processes, workflows, and schedules
- Basic photoshop skills
- Experience with google workspace, especially google forms.
- Background or demonstrated interest in immersive media.
- Experience with data analysis a plus
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
