JOB DESCRIPTION
ADMINISTRATIVE/ HR ASSOCIATE

Position Title: Administrative/HR Associate
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Department: Corporate Office
Accountable To: Ownership, Office Manager and HR Manager

Location: This position is at the Corporate Office in North Spokane

Summary of Position:
The Administrative Associate is involved in all day to day human resources activities and ensuring efficient operation of the Corporate office within QOL Restaurant group, including but not limited to Twigs Bistro and
Martini Bar and Twigs American Kitchen.

Key Performance Elements/Essential Functions:
? Answer Phones
? Maintain contact lists
? Employee verifications
? Assist with garnishment paperwork and notify appropriate parties
? Manage all employee documentation for 500+ employees
? Weekly payroll for all store level employees.
? Calculating and reporting child support payments and other wage garnishments.
? Assist with tracking of all sick and safe leave, FMLA, ADA, etc. (To include all paid and unpaid leave of Absence requests)
? Calculating employee eligibility for benefits programs (medical and voluntary). Offer benefits to employees. Proper reporting for all benefits programs to the appropriate parties.
? Assist with all unemployment and worker’s compensation claims.
? Maintain employee records in compliance with HIPPA laws.
? Other duties as necessary for successful and efficient operations

Work Schedule:
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the restaurant. An expected regular work schedule would be from 9am-5pm Monday – Friday depending on the needs of the company and the efficiency of the employee. There may be periods where additional hours are required to complete tasks and/or meet deadlines. Communication with team members on time sensitive matters may require hours outside of regular work schedule.

Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established and or altered by Twigs Bistro and Martini Bar and Twigs American Kitchen from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with the Twigs Bistro and Martini Bar and Twigs American Kitchen rules and regulations for the safe and efficient operation of our properties. Employees who violate the Twigs Bistro and Martini Bar and Twigs American Kitchen rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

Qualification Standards
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is required. College degree preferred.
Experience:
? Minimum 1-year office experience; answering phones, copy, scan, file, mail.
? Efficient with 10-key & data entry. Minimum 45 wpm.
? Efficient in Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, Outlook, Etc.
? Restaurant experience preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
? Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work load
? Attention to detail analytical and problem solving skills
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills: You will be collaborating with co-workers, store management, guests, vendors and government agencies. You must be able to listen and communicate effectively.
? Full availability is required, flexible schedule.
? Should expect to work 40 hours per week, based on the time of month.
? Preferred experience in Quick Books Desktop.
? Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook are expected.
? Must be professional, organized and excel at multi-tasking.
