Immediate opening for full-time Administrative Registered Nurse to work with 5 Intellectually Disabled Adults with special health care needs in their beautiful home.
Duties include: coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team, writing and revising nursing care plans, client advocacy, supervising nursing staff for competency, establishing and monitoring medication administration regimens; health status assessments, staff in-service training. Promotion opportunities available.
Must have a valid current California RN license. Two years’ experience in a community health service, long-term care and/or serving intellectually disabled or a related population preferred.
Applicants must pass pre-employment background check, pre-employment physical, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and have an active BLS card. Salary Depends on Experience. This position will require some evening and weekend availability. EOE.

About NVDS:
North Valley Developmental Services, Inc. facilities include an Adult Day Program and multiple houses where up to six (6) individual adults with intellectual disabilities reside.
North Valley Developmental Services, Inc. assists clients in daily living goals and independent living skills. Staff assist personal care and hygiene, household chores i.e. laundry, preparing portioned meals following dietary guidelines on our menus, and general housekeeping.
