Are you a former teacher or someone with the heart of a teacher? Would you like to make a difference in the life of an adult learner? Do you have a bachelor’s Degree in any field? Can you spare a few hours a week to help adults achieve their academic goals? Then we would like to meet you!
The Nashua Adult Learning Center (ALC) is looking for teachers. As we gear up for more in person learning this summer and fall, the ALC is seeking to fill teaching positions for morning and evening classes. We have openings for Adult Basic Education teachers who enjoy working with adults who are studying to pass the HiSET exam. Areas of study include reading, writing, math, science and social studies. We also have ESL (English Second Language) teaching positions working with adult learning or improving upon their English skills.
We offer a competitive salary of $27.00 per hour as well as a strong support team, curriculum, and books. Beginning the week of July 11th, we have openings for an ABE in-person instructor on Tuesdays and Thursday mornings for 6 weeks. Other positions will begin in September.
