TriSource is seeking a DSP to begin working Monday- Friday located in the Columbia area working within an Adult Day Program.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with a vulnerable population
• Active CPR and First Aid
• Mandt and DDA training (can provide)
• Reliable transportation
• Clean background and ability to pass a drug screen
• High school diploma
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities:

• Assist with ADL's based on individuals needs
• Provide overall companionship and support
• Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner
• Recognizing changes in client's behaviors to prevent crisis and de-escalating crisis situations that arise
• Providing support and act as a role-model on how to react in certain situations
• Monitor clients with acute and chronic medical conditions
• Help plan and develop a programs for the individual(s) based on specific goals
• Provide transportation of participants of the day program and integrate individuals into the community

Schedule:

• Monday- Friday 8-4p

• Columbia, MD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Caregiving: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
• CPR Certification (Preferred)
• DDA (Preferred)
• Mandt (Preferred)
