The Acclaim Multi-Specialty Group is currently seeking a dynamic ACNP/AGACNP/PA to join our Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Division with JPS Health Network. JPS Health Network is the leader in trauma care for Tarrant County. As the county hospital system, JPS has been serving the residents of Tarrant County for over 100 years. Job Summary:
The Advanced Practice Provider practices under the direct supervision of the supervising physician and is responsible for assisting with all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatments and consultations within the inpatient and/or outpatient setting. This position will also educate patients about preventative care and prescribed treatments; may also conduct physicals, order tests and serve as a patient's healthcare provider.
Duties and Essential Job Functions:
- Collaborates with the Plastic Surgeons in overseeing and coordinating the multidisciplinary care delivered to all patients, to optimize quality patient care.
- Reviews patient medical charts to assist physician with diagnosis, treatment and care management.
- Makes appropriate patient referrals as necessary.
- Provides care education to patients and families.
- Monitors guidelines for the management of care and for ensuring that the services are delivered in compliance with the guidelines established by JPS Health Network and Acclaim Multi-Specialty Group.
- Provides evidence-based and compassionate care to all patients as assigned to improve patient outcomes and increase patient satisfaction scores.
- Performs other job related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Required Education/Licensure/Certification:
- Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing
OR
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program
AND
- 2 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Must have current Texas Physician Assistant license or Texas APRN license (AGACNP/ACNP) with RNFA
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Preferred Experience:
- Specialty training with ultrasound procedures preferred
- Advanced Burn Life Support (ABLS)
- Burn care experience
