We are looking for passionate instructors to join After-School Programs as Enrichment Instructors.

With locations in the Seattle, Bellevue, and Mercer Island areas.

*Note: Interviews will be conducted remotely, but classes will be in-person*

Classes are held 1x a week between the hours of 1:00 pm and 5:15 pm, Monday through Friday.

• Staff can sign-up for and teach multiple classes per week.

Hourly pay: $55.00 - $75.00

We are seeking instructors in the following subjects:

- Entrepreneurship (Grades K-8)

- Chess* (Grades K-8)

- Coding, Hacking, and Artificial Intelligence (Grades K-8)

- Game Design (Grades K-8)

- Graphic Design (Grades K-8)

- Photography (Grades K-8)

- Cooking (Grades K-8)

- Earth and Nature Science (Grades K-5)

- Journalism and Newspaper (Grades K-8)

- Sports** (Grades K-8)

*Chess Instructors - Must have experience playing and/or Instructing Chess

**Sports include Ultimate Frisbee, Lacrosse, and introductory to Baseball, Basketball, Soccer, and general sports group Games.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and Instruct a group of children, the ratio of 1:10 for younger students and 1:12 for older students.
• Instructors working with Kindergarten, 1-year experience REQUIRED
• Responsible for the cleanliness and organization of a classroom.
• Communicate with the Regional Director as needed, about any student concerns.
• Ability to work in a flexible, fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• Instructors interested in working with Kindergarten must have experience working with this age group.
• Previous experience or interest in the subject that the instructor will be teaching.
• Time-management
• Dependable transportation
• Ability to undergo fingerprinting and pass CORI/SORI background check.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $55.00 - $75.00 per hour
