Davis Express, Inc., located in Starke, FL, is a refrigerated carrier using company drivers serving the Southeastern United States. We have an opportunity for highly motivated professional individuals to help strengthen our Operations team. We are currently seeking Dispatchers in our Operations Department at our main terminal in Starke, Florida off Highway 301. Our operation runs 24/7 which requires personnel to work a rotating schedule of 4 -12 hour shifts per week working 50% of the weekends per year (work 5 straight weekends and then off 5 straight weekends). These positions are hourly positions and overtime is paid accordingly. Newly hired operations staff is placed on the night shift. As day shift positions become available, employees are moved to day shift based on seniority. Job Duties Include:

• Communicating load information with drivers by phone, satellite communication, or in person
• Answering inbound driver calls & satellite communication from drivers
• Resolving driver issues as they may arise and coordinating with appropriate departments to resolve those issues
• Working close with load planner to maximize driver productivity & ensure driver gets home in a timely manner
• Disburse funds for Lumpers, Washouts, & Maintenance repairs

Requirements: * Exceptional people skills

• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Great time management and organizational skills
• Excellent Computer Skills, including knowledge of basic Windows Operations
• Be able to handle a fast pace environment and the ability to multitask
