We are seeking a Policy Payment Specialist in our Topeka, KS or Lubbock, TX office.

This job is responsible for the daily processing of Insured Indemnity payments. This role will work closely with various departments throughout the organization to ensure accurate and prompt payment to Insureds. Additionally, this position provides support to internal and external customers in regards to claims payments.

- Daily processing of Indemnity payments including reissuing any payments.
- Assist internal and external customers with any questions regarding the mailing process and tracking information.
- Ensure that special circumstances, including TOCs and AOIs, have been correctly applied.
- Ensure banking information for insured direct deposits is entered timely and accurately.
- Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
Education
High School Diploma, equivalent or equivalent experience
Experience
Required – MS Excel Skills
Required – minimum of 1 years in a previous office setting, Customer Service experience,
Required - Experience in Crop Insurance Indemnity payments
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform complex functions.

- Ability to multi-task and complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and develop strong working relationships with internal and external customers.
- Proficient in using standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office applications with a strong emphasis on advanced MS Excel skills.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in researching and understanding RMA guidelines and requirements.
- Bring to the attention of the department Director any business activity which is not in compliance with federal, state, or local laws or the highest standards or business ethics and integrity
- Become proficient in the use of all necessary software applications, policies, & procedures.
- Respond to all requests promptly and with an accommodating attitude.
- Always maintain a positive and professional attitude with customers both internal and external.
- Communicate, face to face in events, clearly, openly, and effectively with Agents and co-workers both verbally and in writing.
- Continually assess current processes to look for ways to create efficiencies.
- Bring an innovative mindset to address daily issues.
- Provide a positive corporate image with the company and in public.
Physical Requirements & Work Conditions
Physical Demands & Requirements
Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
Hearing. Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound.
The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
