We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced AI Technologist to join our team. As a Distinguished AI Technologist, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies for AI implementation across our organization. You will work closely with our executive leadership team to identify opportunities for leveraging AI to enhance our products and services, streamline our processes, and drive innovation. You will articulate HP AI point of view to our sales force and our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an AI strategy that aligns with the business objectives and enhances the customer experience.
  • Evaluate the latest AI technologies and assess their potential impact on our business.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for applying AI to improve processes, products, and services.
  • Lead the development of AI applications, models, and algorithms, ensuring they are robust, reliable, and scalable.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the AI field, including advancements in machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and computer vision.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with leading AI researchers, universities, and industry organizations.
  • Lead and mentor a team of AI experts to ensure the successful execution of AI initiatives.
  • Applies advanced theoretical knowledge to design groundbreaking solutions
  • Communicates the work of the AI team to the rest of the organization
  • Creates technology strategy and engineering roadmaps related to AI platforms
  • Serves as a mentor to less experienced engineers and team members

Knowledge & Skills:
  • Highest source of authority and expertise in software applications development at the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to organize a team around the collection and analysis of input from multiple sources (customers, sales, engineering, marketing, competitor, and management)
  • Comprehensive experience in software development, systems engineering, or software General
  • Strong leadership and innovation skills
  • History of innovation with multiple patents or deployed solutions in the field of software engineering.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills
  • Extensive experience in overall architecture of firmware and interaction with hardware designs for products and solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language
  • Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at the most senior organizational levels

Scope & Impact:
  • Directly leads to improvements in overall product delivery for all of Engineering, via both internal process re-engineering and working with partners
  • Acts as a subject matter expert and advise various internal, partner, and customer teams on the needs and requirements of target markets
  • Provides guidance for junior team members
  • Leadership and decision making has immediate and long-term impacts on the profitability and success of the product

  • Very high

Education & Experience:
  • Typically requires a minimum of 15 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 12 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 8 years experience; or equivalent experience. Significant barriers to entry (e.g., top management review, approval) exist at this level.
