Job Description:

• Assemble and install parts and pieces of aluminum in shipyard fabrication.
• Set up and weld seams, brackets, plates and parts with aluminum pulse process.
• Remove slags and rough spots from work pieces by operating grinders or scrapers to ensure smooth work surface
• Employ their knowledge of metallurgy to determine materials and equipment most suitable for a welding project
• Clean and prepare work pieces using chemical solutions etc. to remove foreign matter such as grease, rust etc.
• Wear appropriate protective gear and ensure compliance with established health/safety regulations.
• Must use all PPE including a half face respirator.
• Able to weld and work in confined spaces and in various positions.
• Work in a safety sensitive environment by following all company safety policies.
• Hours Per Week: Hours Vary

• Pre-employment Drug test and physical
• Safety Orientation

Other Job Details:

• *Onsite Housing is available for $100 per week.
• *Long time job position

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: Up to $30.00 per hour
