Job summary
The Amazon Ads team is looking for an experienced, self-driven, sales professional to lead our engagement with the Sales organization to execute against our strategic priorities and grow revenue. In this role, you will be responsible for working with Sales to align on goals, strategy, and plans for growing reach and adoption of an innovative ad product to drive three-digit growth. You will work closely with Product and Marketing to identify repeatable sales plays, ensure the field sales organization is well equipped with content and knowledge of available resources to be effective in having the right customer conversations, and provide valuable customer insights to inform our product and marketing strategy. As the product subject matter expert for Sales, you will own the development of readiness plans, programs, and mechanisms to enable Sales to execute successfully against relevant segments or business areas and support sales engagements to unblock strategic deals.

This position supports a hybrid work model and you will be able to work virtually from anywhere in US. The role requires up to 25% (1-2 weeks) travel to an Amazon hub location every quarter, for a collaborative team session and will need to be booked at least two months in advance. Amazon has tech hubs in multiple locations (Seattle, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, New York, Washington DC, Chicago, Austin, Boulder, Detroit, Toronto and Miami). Key job responsibilities

  • Partner closely with Sales leadership to align on goals, identify opportunities to jointly drive towards strategic priorities, and increase mindshare for our product offerings
  • Identify gaps and perform detailed needs assessment in coordination with Sales to develop an end-to-end plan for Sales onboarding and always-boarding initiatives and programs around our product offerings
  • Develop and execute programs and mechanisms to drive sales readiness to extend product reach and accelerate adoption
  • Act as the subject matter expert resource for Sales to provide technical sales and pitch support to unblock deals and close revenue
  • Provide consumer insight feedback to Product and Marketing to inform product decisions and identify gaps in or optimize existing content and readiness materials

  • Direct field experience working with enterprise accounts is preferred
  • Experience in digital advertising or performance marketing is a plus

  • The base pay range for this position is $113,050 - 176,400/yr. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
