Overview:
The Logistics Analyst performs work under general direction and is responsible for controlling the movement of materials records and parts needed for various programs in which Aerojet Rocketdyne is engaged. This position maintains accurate transportation, inventory and schedule of records and resolve potential delays which may impact end item delivery. This position maintains transportation and warehouse material records involved with maintaining an acceptable level of physical inventory and on time delivery necessary to support various programs. This position prepares recommendations for changes to transportation and warehouse management plans in response to changing processes and supply documentation to support numerous internal and external audits. This position will be located at our facility in Camden, Arkansas.

20% - Provides solutions to problems involving unusual complexity.
20% - Conceives and plans projects involving the development of new approaches and methods to attain objectives.
10% - Provides input to department objectives and long-range goals.
10% - Keeps current within the area of specialty in support of transportation and warehouse management projects.
20% - Develops metrics to track department performance.
10% - May lead the analysis of records management.
10% - Evaluates existing capabilities and processes. Requirements:
May be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level. Requires U.S. Citizenship. Must be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline and three (3) years of experience in a directly related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
May be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level. Requires U.S. Citizenship. Must be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.
Work Environment/Physical Requirements:
The work environment may require a combination of indoor and outdoor activity (hot, cold, wet, humid conditions) with a varied amount of walking, standing, sitting, climbing (i.e. ladders, stair, scaffolding, ramps), balance (maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing, or crouching on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces), bending, reaching, handling/fingering (seizing, holding, grasping, turning picking, pinching), stooping, kneeling, crouching and ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, employees may work around variable noise levels. May require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coat. May also be required to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer. Ability to distinguish colors may also be necessary. Some employees may be required to drive between various locations within the Company facility or between locations. May require the ability to travel by air or auto. These positions may be expected to work varying shifts and hours to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization.
