OnsiteThe Alabama Service Center is looking for candidates with high technical potential for employment as apprentices to learn the skills of disassembly, inspection, repair, and overhaul of aircraft engine nacelle components.
Term
- 4 year apprenticeship. Includes On-the-Job training and college degree plan
- Education received during Apprenticeship
- Associates of Applied Science – Airframe Technology: Coastal Alabama Community College completed during course of 4 year apprenticeship
- FAA Airframe License from Coastal Alabama Community College
- Nationally recognized Registered Apprenticeship certificate through the U.S. Department of Labor upon completion of Apprenticeship
Wages
- Starting pay is $13.86 with opportunities to progressively increase based on satisfactory performance
- Wages are earned while at work and at school
- Upon successful completion of apprenticeship, becomes eligible to promote into Mechanic/Inspector position

Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years or older prior to date of hire.
- Must have obtained High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience prior to date of hire.
- Must be able to maintain 2.5 GPA through post-secondary education.
- Must be able to pass DOT Drug test per 14 CFR Part 120 and 40 CFR Part 40.
- Must complete all other Collins Aerospace and registered apprenticeship standards as required.
