Architectural & Design Representative for Ceramic Tile & Stone Distributor

D&B Tile Distributors is seeking a qualified individual for an Architectural & Design Representative Position. The selected individual will represent our company and products to an existing customer base of architects and designers in the Miami Dade area. Reporting to the VP Sales & Marketing, you will take a hands-on approach to building customer relationships. This is a prime opportunity to become a key member of South Florida’s leader in the tile industry, leaving your own indelible mark on an organization timing with excitement and energy about its’ position in the marketplace. In business for over 50 years, D&B Tile is South Florida’s largest independently owned and operated tile and stone distributor.
Essential responsibilities
- Formulate a plan based on existing assigned firms and new firms
- Establish monthly goals and track specifications
- Advise architect/design professionals and owners on products and systems to be incorporated into projects
- Determine the correct use of a product or system
- Promote a product for its intended purpose
- Give advice on product options, limitations, cost, and maintenance
- Scheduling visits, client visits, client notes, and mileage expenses recorded in the rep. app on your company phone
- Job tracking in the CRM/Opportunity module in company business software
- Construction Journal as a resource for tracking jobs
In short, the role is to get our products included in the specification. You will play an essential role in the process of material research and product evaluation and final selection.
Job Requirements
- Teamwork and Collaboration
- Adept at Sales presentations
- Updating of existing A&D resource libraries
- Bilingual - English and Spanish (preferred)
- Delivery of samples
- Networking
- Some traveling
- Customer follow-up through face-to-face, e-mail, and phone calls
- Familiar with a CRM system
Education and Experience
Associate Degree (preferred)
At least 3 years of experience in Marketing, Sales, and A&D field.
Flooring experience is a plus.

On the road: 80%

Compensation
$45,000 to $75,000/Base Salary plus commission

Pay: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
