Asset Management/Inventory Specialist-Pentagon, Arlington, VA
Job description
DirectViz Solutions (DVS), a high-level strategic consulting services firm that meets mission IT needs for government clients. We are hiring for a full-time Asset Management/Inventory Specialist. This position is located at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. An active Secret clearance is required. This position will provide backup support to Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling and Joint Base Andrews, so reliable transportation and a valid drivers license are also required.
Duties:
- Schedule appointments for all Hardware Asset Techs to complete various jobs for customers.
- Conduct both physical and virtual inventories at sites all across D.C., Maryland, and Virginia.
- Work closely with customers to resolve and close out inventories in a timely fashion.
- Provide customer service via email and phone with anything having to do with asset transfers, answering inventory related questions, tagging requests, and locating specific assets.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of Remedy, ServiceNow or similar for tracking assets
- 2 years of Inventory experience
- An active Secret clearance
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move 30 lbs. of equipment
