Our Raytheon Missiles and Defense (RMD) Physical Security Group has an immediate need for temporary Part-Time Security Officers. The RMD Physical Security Group is responsible for the protection of company and government buildings/property against the unauthorized access or removal of property.

This temporary position is a part time/on call position based on demand. The hours are varied.

This onsite position is based in Andover, MA, but the select employee may need to travel to any of the following local sites; Marlborough MA, Tewksbury MA, Andover MA, Woburn MA, Portsmouth RI, and Pelham NH.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Provide asset protection for company and government buildings, equipment, products, personnel, and information.
• Prevent the entry of unauthorized personnel, the illegal removal or willful destruction of company equipment.
• Conduct security patrols to observe for and report all fires, damage, hazards, and violations of company and customer regulations and policy.
• Check badges of all persons entering or leaving company entrances; frequently coordinate clearance and badge verifications with designated security personnel.
• Inspect packages, briefcases, and other parcels in accordance with company policy and procedure.
• Complete data logs for vehicles and personnel entering the facility entry control points.
• Assist in conducting fire drills and facility evacuations.
• Respond to medical and other emergencies.
• Monitor for unattended classified, company controlled material, and other classified materials and properly secure material.
• Perform security checks of all controlled areas and respond to alarms in accordance with DoD and company policy.
• Participate in training programs mandated by law and company policy.

You're highly skilled in:

• The ability to walk and stand for eight hours
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

You're a great match with:

• Computer proficiency
• Active secret security clearance
• Prior security experience with a cleared defense contractor
• Military and/or law enforcement experience

Education:

HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

Clearance Requirements:

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

This is a temporary position of an undetermined length.

The salary range for this role is $18-$22/hr; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training and key skills.
