Assets and Logistics Specialist

Job Posting Description

KBR is seeking a motivated Assets and Logistics Specialist to support a government customer in the Washington Metropolitan Area. In this role, the candidate will assist the client in monitoring and managing assets and logistical requirements, to include:

  • Maintain and update policy and other guiding documents pertaining to assets and logistics.
  • Conduct data calls to track and report on assets and real property across offices and/or agencies.
  • Draft, edit, and coordinate reports, briefings, or other deliverables in response to customer requirements.
    • Topics to include logistics operations, supply chain management, and asset management.
  • Research and recommend systematic, integrated, practices and innovative process improvements for maintaining real property records.
  • Administer quarterly facility data and real property data calls.
  • Draft responses to Requests for Information and perform data analysis to enable leadership to address gaps and remediate audit findings.
  • Draft and coordinate with partners a monthly Portfolio Management Review presentation for the client’s activities and initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidate must have experience with oversight of IC Plant, Property, and Equipment (PPE), to include researching and recommending systemic, integrated practices and innovative process improvements to optimize logistics, supply chain, and asset management programs.

Candidate must have ability to:

  • conduct feasibility studies, capability assessments and gap analysis to reduce programmatic redundancies and inefficiencies of IC logistics.
  • Conduct studies of specific assets and logistics-related issues.
  • Assist in executing interagency working groups and program reviews.
    • Tasks may include but are not limited to arranging meeting logistics, preparing meeting materials, and taking meeting notes.
  • manage data calls for working groups, which may include collecting, analyzing, validating, and presenting results of trend analysis of IC agencies regarding their PPE.
    • may include, but not limited to, PPE inventory, transportation, warehousing and distribution, life cycle asset management, and global supply chain management operations.
  • draft reports and executive summaries highlighting key findings and gaps.
  • propose a schedule and staffing plan to meet the study need for client's review and acceptance.

Experience conducting studies of logistics-related issues to inform Sponsor efforts on a certain topic

Journeyman Level – 8 years of experience with a BA.

Senior Level – 8 – 12 years of experience with a BA

SME Level – 12 – 15 years experience with a BA.
