Job Description
Supports on-campus room assignments and other housing operations for new, returning and graduate students. Oversees desk operations and directly supervises student Customer Service Representatives (CSRs). Serves as a Campus Security Authority with regard to Clery Act Reporting. In all actions, maintains privacy and confidentiality of records in accordance with established University policy as well as applicable federal regulations appropriate to higher education. Performs all duties in full support of the University's mission, understanding the positive and effective execution of these duties are instrumental to the education of the University's students.This is a live-in staff position, responsible for responding to emergency situations at all hours, including evenings and weekends.

Description of Key Responsibility: Reviews, processes and maintains on-campus room assignments and room changes for new, returning, and graduate students. Responsible for key management, work flows, and housing cancellations. Assists with new and returning student housing selection and assignments. Updates housing data using StarRez and Banner.

Description of Key Responsibility: Hires, supervises, and evaluates 15-20 student CSRs. Provides leadership, direction, and support to CSRs in the areas of customer service, administrative processes, and student support. Facilitates regular team and individual meetings, as well as provides on-going training and development opportunities. Works closely with Office Coordinator to ensure quality and collaborative customer service to students, families, and other community members by clarifying policies, addressing concerns, and responding to inquiries in a timely manner.

Description of Key Responsibility: Collaborates with Resident Directors to execute administrative processes, including but not limited to room condition reports, health and safety inspections, life safety inspections, room verifications, pre-close inspections, and damage billing; reviews data to ensure accuracy. Assists with the planning, resourcing, and execution of departmental opening and closing operations. Manages card access (CS Gold) including collaborating with the ID Office and making individual changes for room changes. Manages monthly US Census Bureau requests. Works closely with the Bursars Office and Information-Technology Services to assist with student billing.

Regularly evaluates and improves operational and systemic processes to ensure equitable residential opportunities for students. Actively supports and adapts to new ideas, approaches, and change.

Description of Key Responsibility: Serves as a member of a professional duty team to provide support and direction to 70 RAs managing campus emergency and crisis situations. Collaborates with Public Safety, Aramark Facilities, Counseling and Psychological Services, and other campus partners to manage situations.

Description of Key Responsibility: Serves as a conduct hearing officer to shape positive student behavior. Works closely with the Office of Student Conduct and Conflict Resolution and utilizes Maxient software to manage cases. Responsible for following federal and state regulations as they relate to Residential Life and DSS functions, as well as University policies and procedures. Serves as a Campus Security Authority (Clery Act).
