Purchasing and Planning Coordinator

We are seeking an amazing Assistant Buyer to join a wonderful team. You will report to the Manager of Forecasting & Buying for the day-to-day and work cross-functionally in the team.
Requirements
Responsibilities
➢ Review and approve planned weekly purchase orders within our automated system
➢ Partner with manager & cross-functional team to provide sales trend and inventory direction
➢ Analyze historical data and current trends to recap business
➢Support the planning and buying teams in the daily management of inventory
➢ Work to identify sales and stock risks and opportunities by brand and style
➢ Provide support to the team in allocation strategies in order to achieve sales, turn, and margin goals
➢ Create high level open-to-buy sales plans and inventory targets
Qualifications
➢ Understanding of retail measurements
➢ Excellent attention to detail
➢ Degree of proficiency using Microsoft Excel, including knowledge of pivot tables
➢ Competency to present data & influence discussion with peers and members of the cross-functional team
➢ Ability to be in office on a hybrid schedule
➢ Interest in forecasting, Amazon, wellness, and beauty
➢ Bachelor’s Degree and 1-2 years of relevant experience
