Position Summary:
The Assistant Controller will oversee all accounting, finance and HR operations while supporting the strategic growth of the company. The ideal candidate will be excited by the challenge of wearing multiple hats while building accounting, reporting, and financial processes and controls in a small company experiencing high growth. This position will report directly to the CEO and requires extensive collaboration with the management team.
Key duties & responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting functions, including but not limited to AP, AR, Payroll, cash management and financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with internal and external reporting guidelines
- Direct annual budgeting process
- Develop forecasts and budgets for short and long term planning
- Provide analysis to support company/portfolio decision-making
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- 5+ years of experience in related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with Sage accounting system preferred
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Detail oriented
