This is a part-time contract position.

This is a part-time contract position and an opportunity to work with 15+ brands on a variety of copyediting and proofreading tasks. Main responsibilities include editing and proofing copy for marketing emails, company communications, landing pages, social media posts, video scripts, and more.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, thorough knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation, as well as an interest in digital marketing and social media. Candidates should be self-starters, highly detail-oriented, team-focused with the ability to work independently, have a desire to learn, and excel at working on a variety of projects on an as-needed basis.

Job responsibilities:

• Edit/proof copy for various marketing materials (landing pages, emails, social media posts, etc.)
• Edit/proof copy for video scripts and descriptions
• Edit/proof copy for subject matter experts/instructor communications
• Collaborate with leadership to receive assignments, tasks, establish priorities, etc.
• Collaborate with various departments to proof copy for new brand launch materials
• Edit and optimize written content for various websites

Candidate Requirements

• Excellent communication skills—please provide samples of your written work or portfolio upon applying
• Thorough knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation
• Experience with style guides and ability to adhere to brand styles
• Basic understanding of SEO & digital content optimization
