The Village at Victory Lakes is a part of Franciscan Ministries, is hiring for a Assistant Director of Nursing for our Skilled Nursing Facility. The Assistant Director of Nursing / ADON should ensure the highest quality of care is maintained at all times. This is a full time position.

Hours available in Skilled Nursing

• Fulltime: Evenings 2:30pm to 11:00pm

Location: The Village at Victory Lakes, 1055 E Grand Ave, Lindenhurst, IL 60046 - – approx. 8 miles from Six Flags in Gurnee, IL

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise the day to day nursing of the 1st and 2nd floor.
• Assist in informing the nursing service staff of new admissions arrival time and ensure the room is ready for the new admission.
• Review nursing notes to ensure they are informative and descriptive of nursing care being provided and they reflect the resident’s response to care.
• Maintain the confidentially of all resident care information.
• Make daily rounds of the unit to ensure all nursing service personnel are performing their work assignments in accordance with the acceptable nursing standards
• Help with admissions, or putting in orders

Required skills and qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Illinois for 3 or more years
• Experience as a supervisor in a LTC facility is preferred
• Training in restorative nursing, MDS, wound care, and infection control
• Ability to work in fast paced environment
• Must enjoy working with the senior population
