Our client is looking for fun, energetic, and experienced full- or part-time Assistant Teachers to join their premier preschool in Spring Hill, TN. Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist Lead Teacher with both whole and small group activities in accordance with curriculum objectives, developmentally appropriate practice and program philosophy
  • Provide input for quarterly assessment of children's development
  • Maintain daily open communication with parents
  • Keep accident reports and observation reports
  • Maintain anecdotal records, maintain confidentiality, and report any suspect abuse to supervisor
  • Arrange a classroom environment in accordance to program goals and philosophy
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment and inspect and replace damaged or lost materials
  • Attend in-service and staff meetings
  • Keep all appropriate records such as records, attendance and timesheets
  • Meet all applicable licensing regulations

Qualifications:

  • At least 18-years-old with either a high school diploma or GED
  • CDA or AA in ECE or related field preferred but not required
  • A desire to work with children
  • Meet background check eligibility

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
