Summary
Barry University, Andreas School of Business seeks a Full-time Management Faculty member at the Assistant professor rank, or possibly at the Instructor rank.
The D. Inez Andreas School of Business (ASB) Offers Bachelor and Master degree programs in the various disciplines of business. The School emphasizes developing ethical business leaders who are socially responsible, have an entrepreneurial attitude and a global perspective. The programs are accredited by AACSB-International, which speaks to the quality of the programs and the School`s processes. Barry University is located in Miami, FL, and is well positioned to take advantage of the vibrant, high -growth business and technology ecosystem of South Florida.
The Assistant Professor or Instructor will teach graduate and undergraduate level classes in Management and related areas including Strategy, Organizational Behavior, Leadership, or Human Resource Management. Class times may be during the day and/or evenings, face-to face and online. The typical teaching load is 18 credit hours per academic year.
This is an in-person position.
Anticipated start date: August 15th, 2022
Essential Functions

Teach undergraduate and/or undergraduate business students and conduct discipline-related scholarship aligned with the mission of the School. Service to the School and University are expected.
Qualifications/Requirements

A PhD (or near completion) in Business Administration or Management or closely related research area.

Scholarly activity to meet Andreas School of Business-AACSB Scholarly Academic status criteria or conferral of doctorate within the last 3 years. ABD status will be considered.

Evidence of strong instructional skills in a face-to-face and/or online setting is preferred.

Practical industry experience and certifications from recognized professional societies are highly valued.

The ability to engage students in hands-on, action-based learning through external partners is desired.
