Gorham House is hiring a full-time Nurse (RN) to join our 20 bed Skill/Rehab unit as Assistant Unit Manager. This position requires you to collaborate with staff, physcians, rehabilitation therapy, social workers and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients on our Skilled/Rehab unit. Our resident-centered approach accommodates varying levels of care according to an individual's changing needs and requirements. We are looking for a candidate that can ensure that residents care delivery is consistent with our mission, vision, values and policies here @ Gorham House.
This role requires an registered nurse that has a current and unencumbered license in the State of Maine, who has critical thinking skills, the ability to interact professionally with residents, family members, visitors, and staff. The ideal candidate will posses the ability to communicate effectively, handle stressful situations with tact and be willing to work as part of a team to meet the needs of our residents.
This is a full-time position with a primary schedule of Monday - Friday with some participation in a rotating weekend on-call schedule.
