Summary:
Responsible for the operation and overseeing all team members in the successful completion of tasks, projects, and job duties in the Vault department. Responsible for handling department paperwork and ensuring accuracy of vault transactions.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Assist with scheduling, training, developing, and coaching department staff
- Lead the tactical execution of strategic initiatives under the direction of division leadership
- Has the ability to perform all functions of the vault staff
- Maintain accountability of impress banks, and vault inventory of currency, coin, patron’s checks, credit instruments, keys and records
- Act as a liaison, as necessary, between line staff and departmental leadership to ensure leadership is aware of any challenges with job performance, staffing levels, and/or job tasks
- Ensure all money handling equipment is operating efficiently
- Safeguard company assets and report any monetary or procedural discrepancy to the Vault Manager or Sr. Director of Cage and Credit in a timely manner
- Monitor, inventory, and order department product and supplies
- Maintains knowledge of route/tavern location openings/closings and calculate daily bank deposit and cash orders
- Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position
- Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 3-5 years’ experience in Vault, Casino Cage, Soft Count or Banking
- 2 years’ leadership experience
- Knowledge of basic math skills and ability to accurately handle currency and coin
- Ability to work with other department personnel, co-workers and management
- Strong computer skills
- Must have experience with Microsoft Excel
- At least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to apply common sense reasoning to variety of situations
- Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
- Verify right to work in the United States

- Occasionally push/pull up to 15 lbs.
- Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels
- Occasionally squat, kneel, and communicate via radio
- Frequently bend, reach, twist, sit, and stand
- Constant use of hearing and vision, distinguish between shades of color, and use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity
