Job Summary

Disney Consumer Products, Games, and Publishing (CPGP) is the business

segment of The Walt Disney Company that extends the Disney brand to

merchandise ranging from apparel, toys, home décor and books to interactive games, food and beverages, stationery, electronics and animation art.

The Associate provides support in the execution of franchise strategy and

vision across Disney Consumer Products, Games, and Publishing, with a focus on support for Disney Animation and Pixar.

You will report to Senior Manager, Franchise Development.

Responsibilities/You Will

  • Support development of annual franchise plan

  • Support business updates for internal and external partners by coordinating data collection, product images, and more

  • Identify additional product and marketing opportunities in partnership with licensing and retail brand development teams

  • Manage global intellectual property clearances for franchise and licensing programs

  • Support marketing and franchise review process with content partners including submissions, feedback capture and implementation

  • Partner with Integrated Planning and Animation Studios to coordinate Consumer Products involvement in content updates, mobilization meetings and task forces

  • Route/manage online product approvals/marketing submissions including TV spots, in-store creative, social media, trade communications and more

  • Support franchise initiative development tied specifically to retail and licensing projects

  • Support development and distribution of franchise tools including Fact Sheets, pitch decks, Hot Sheets, sizzles, content calendars, and film-related presentations

  • Support tailored pitch deck development for licensee, retail, trade shows and large meetings

  • Manage communication schedule associated with theatrical releases to internal teams with selling, box office and marketing updates

  • Support Public Relations needs through asset support, asset collection, routing approvals and fact checking

  • Team meeting coordination including agenda generation, recap notes/action steps, follow ups

  • Maintain collection of samples for multiple needs

  • Support movie-specific product showcases for content partners and studio

Basic Qualifications/You Will Have

  • 2+ years related experience

  • Proficient in Keynote; develop presentations quickly

  • Present to large audiences, including internal and external partners

  • Organize and prioritize project work and manage deadlines

  • Collaborate and build relationships with team members and partners

  • Flexible to fast pace and changing environment

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)

Required Education

  • Bachelor's degree
