Overview
Mativ’s Talent Management team is looking for an Associate Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting multiple aspects of the Talent Management agenda, covering over 7,500+ global employees. As a member of the Talent Management Team, this role will collaborate and partner with the VP, Director, and other HR team members on topics such as performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, learning & career development.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of the annual performance management, talent review and succession planning processes, coordinating with HR Business Partners, Total Rewards, and other key business stakeholders
  • Provide expertise and support in the design and implementation of global learning and development programs that enable our employees and team to be more effective in their roles
  • Demonstrate consultative style and approach with proven ability to build credible relationships, influence and gain commitment of internal business partners and key stakeholders
  • Support the creation of communication and training materials for HR Business Partners and employees to improve understanding of talent initiatives
  • Demonstrate ability to effectively manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks
  • Manage external vendors to develop and implement talent development initiatives that support the company’s objectives
  • Drive reporting and measurements of the effectiveness of talent initiatives, including sharing insights with relevant stakeholders and making adjustments as necessary
  • Stay abreast of latest trends and research in talent management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (required)
  • Master’s degree or Ph.D. degree in Organizational/ Industrial Psychology or related field (preferred)
  • 3-5 years of progressively increasing HR experience in two or more specialized HR functions (e.g. talent management, succession management, leadership development, learning & development, performance management)
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong change management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Experience working in a global company strongly preferred
